Nutritional Counseling
Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA) is a healing art that has been perfected over a period of three decades. It is interdisciplinary in nature, combining techniques of kinesiology, acupuncture, and clinical nutrition.
The entire system of analysis that CRA encompasses includes points that test for weaknesses in the major organs, glands, systems, and structures of the body. Using a sequence of 75 major test points taken in sequence, it is possible to assess and prioritize all of the nutritional needs of a patient.
Each reflex point or acupuncture point represents a specific function, organ or tissue, and indicates the energy or lack of energy and the effect this is having on the body. By testing these points, we have a system of monitoring the patient's body at each visit that is extremely accurate and helps us identify exactly what the body needs each time.
The antecedents of CRA date back thousands of years to the origins of the ancient Chinese art of acupuncture. CRA was researched and developed by Dr. Versendaal, D.C., along with an M.D., a clinical nutritionist, a dentist and a hematologist during the past 30 years. CRA has been taught in continuing education seminars across the United States to all Health Care professionals for over 25 years.
